What is remarketing, anyway? Well, it’s more than revamping and reintroducing a product to consumers to reignite interest (and generally involves fewer “re” words). Today, remarketing has a lot to do with Google. Doesn’t everything? Here are a few facts to keep in mind if you’re considering remarketing:
- Google Remarketing is used to target users who have previously visited your website and essentially chase them around the Internet with your ads – so it’s kind of like stalking your customers, but legal and not scary.
- Remarketing is a great way of nudging people who may have been interested in but not motivated enough to make a purchase when browsing your website. (Incidentally, these people make up 96% of site visitors. [Digital Information World]) If they see your ad enough after leaving, you raise your chances of them coming back.
- Set up remarketing lists and monitor them closely. Don’t continue sending ads to a customer who has already converted, and customize your ads depending on the group you’re targeting.
Remember, your friends here at Counterintuity understand remarketing so you don’t have to. Email us today, and let’s convert those customers together!
