When it comes to website design, we’re not in it for the glory.
We’re in it for the client, the content, and our unwavering love of the work. But accolades from highly-respected creative competitions?
Well, we’re also not ones to turn down icing on our cake.
This year, Counterintuity designed the website for Global Organ Donor Education Network (GODEN). GODEN is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the need for organ donors around the world. Its aim is to create an ever-growing community for organ donors, debunk myths and confusion about organ donation, and help save lives through advocacy and action.
Our goal for this website design was simple:
Communicating GODEN’s goals through compelling SEO copy, dynamic design and discerning development.
Lucky for us, our client loved the website – and so did the MarCom Awards and W3 Awards!
MARCOM AWARDS:
Digital Media – Gold for Nonprofit Website
Since 2004, the MarCom Awards has been honoring excellence in marketing and communication. It is currently one of the largest, most prestigious creative competitions in the world, and each year receives approximately 6,000 entries.
We’re proud to be a Gold Winner, and look forward to showcasing the stunning MarCom statuette in our office – custom-designed, hand-tooled, and just our style.

W3 AWARDS:
Website – Silver for Nonprofit
It’s not the first time we’ve won big at the W3 Awards, but it feels just as good!
This organization celebrates digital excellence and prides itself on being “the first major web competition to be accessible to the biggest agencies, the smallest firms, and everyone in between.” The W3 Awards is sanctioned by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an assembly of leading media professionals.
Next time you stop by the Counterintuity office, keep an eye out for this award – standing at one foot tall, weighing more than 5 pounds, and comprised of three stacked cubes.Fun fact: both statuettes are designed by Society Awards, the manufacturers responsible for creating awards given at the Golden Globes, Emmys, CLIOS, MTV Awards, and American Music Awards. We’re honored, humbled, and in really good company. A big thank you to both organizations, and congratulations to GODEN on a website well-made for a worthy cause!
