
CHALLENGE
Since 2009, Counterintuity has provided comprehensive marketing for this SoCal-based business, contributing to double-digit sales growth year-over-year. For 2017, our biggest challenge was helping Ideal Pet grow from purely a wholesale operation to a hybrid business that features both wholesale and retail components. Our latest version of the Ideal website includes a comprehensive e-commerce store that provides customers with direct access to Ideal’s expansive inventory of products.
OUR APPROACH
Because we work closely with this client on year-round marketing initiatives including social media, email marketing, digital advertising and general website updates, recreating their new website was a natural next step of our collaboration. After carefully assessing and optimizing the existing website copy, we took on the extensive effort of building out their online store of over 200 products.

RESULTS
Before launching the e-commerce website, we were able to greatly increase web traffic – namely increase total sessions by 65% and unique users by 70%. By ensuring that their website was delivering well over 50,000 page views per month, we positioned Ideal Pet to get the most out of their newly launched e-commerce site. Check back for sales updates!
