Like many of our B2B clients, Pacific Spice Company has the challenge of wanting to reach very specific industry contacts while not collecting erroneous leads from individual consumers. We were tasked with creating a new website and refreshing the company logo that would help the most “right” contacts to the site while eliminating the engagement from the “wrong” users.
Spices make food taste better, and Pacific Spice Company’s ingredients have been serving the nation’s food-makers for three generations. Our approach was to position the company’s quality, safety, and integrity while also representing their scale (large minimum orders) and application (food processing centers, food packaging plants, etc.). This way, a potential industry buyer would be able to understand this legacy company for all of its merits and also be informed that they were the right customer for the company. Simultaneously, an individual consumer looking to buy spices for their home kitchen would see right away that while these herbs and seasonings are great, they won’t be able to make direct purchases from this site.
